Knights Pharmacy expands footprint in South Wales with acquisition of 2 new pharmacies
Knights Pharmacy has expanded its reach in South Wales with the acquisition of pharmacies in Abercarn and Cwmcarn from the Evans Group. This strategic move, supported by funding from HSBC UK, marks another milestone for the Redditch-based pharmacy group. The Abercarn pharmacy, which processes approximately 12,000 medication items annually, and the Cwmcarn pharmacy, handling around 5,000 items, will now operate under the Knights Pharmacy brand. This acquisition boosts Knights Pharmacy’s portfolio to 49 community sites across England and Wales, up from 18 sites just three years ago. Anand Sodha, Managing Director at Knights Pharmacy, highlighted the company’s dedication to improving local healthcare services.
